Below is the wood skeleton and the clay being applied to it. The rough skeleton, today, is less rough. We made a few molds and have started to mass produce all the intricate beard and feather features that will go into the clay sculpture. We have begun to play with the technique we will use to replicate the look of Alabaster stone. For that we are looking to use an old renaissance technique of "painting" milk on the plaster (its not supposed to smell).
